Dr. Prior, a Miami native, returned to South Florida in 1978 to begin private practice in West Palm Beach.  He has continued the pursuit of excellence started by Dr. Eugene H. Tyler in the early 1950’s and is proud that some of those original patients are still in the practice. They certainly are a testimony to the caring and thoughtful attitude of Dr. Prior and his staff.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida (BS 71) and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1975.  Following dental school Dr. Prior was selected for advanced training in a United States Navy dental residency program at Great Lakes Naval Regional Medical Center and then served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.

Dr. Prior is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, and Academy of Osseointegration and is past president and past peer review chairman of the Central Palm Beach County Dental Association.  Striving for excellence, Dr. Prior is dedicated to continuing education in all phases of dentistry with special emphases in cosmetic and implant restorations.

Happily married, Dr. Prior and his wife Debbie have two grown children living in the area.  He is an avid fisherman and enjoys exploring the Florida Keys and Everglades.
